Welcome Home to Our First Filly!
We're all very excited for Michelle and Martin here at the yard as they welcomed their first foal home from the stud in Ireland. She arrived a little later than hoped but she's looking well and travelled home to us safely. She isnt named yet and will be becoming a syndicated horse in training. Congratulations to Michelle as this is her first foal that shes bred and what a cracker she is too!
4th for Bridge of Sighs
It was racing at Leicester for Bridge of Sighs in a seller on the 21st of September. The good to soft ground over 7 furlongs seemed to suit this young gelding who defied his odds to finish a very close 4th, beating 8 others including the favourite by some seven lengths. A really good ride from jockey Paul Hanagan and a very pleasing performance. Bridge of Sighs is entered in the Horses In Training sales with Tattersalls at the end of October. Anyone interested in the purchase

Open Day a Resounding Success!
We would like to say a big Thank You! to all the visitors who made it down to Liberty Stables for the Newmarket Open Day this year. The weather held out for a nice sunny day yesterday and the whole open weekend was a great success for Newmarket and the trainersand very busy and the yard had many new visitors. We really hope that eeryone had a great day and enjoyed visiting us and the horses here. Now back to the start of a new week but we are looking forward to the next one!

Buteo Bai Progressing Well
Linfield Park was the racourse for Buteo Bai's latest run and what excellent progress she's making. Racing in Maiden Fillies race over 7 furlongs she was with the winner and led over 4 furlongs out, weakening in the final furlong to finish a respectable 5th. She has really shown us some fantastic improvement we can look forward to more from her soon.

Amber Flush at Stratford
Amber Flush went to Stratford for a 3 mile 2 furlong race on Monday the 14th of September. On leaving the yard to Straford the going was good to firm but after alot of rainfall that day when it came to the race the going had changed and was reported as to good, soft in places. The trip was a good distance for Amber Flush as we have seen before in her previous races, unfortunately the change in the ground was unsuitable for her and she finished in 5th place. Despite that she j

Priory has First Run
Long awaited, Priory has had her first run for us. She ran at Kempton over 7 furlongs with Noel Garbutt on board. She didnt have a clean break from the stalls, pulled hard and it looks like 7 furlongs may not be her trip. However we always take the positives from every race and it was great to get her on the course. She's got plenty of speed and sprinting ability and we can now continue to work with her at home to hone her skills for the next race which will likely be in a we

Buteo Bai at Beverly
Buteo Bai ran for a second time at Beverly on the 29th. She didnt get a good position from the draw and struggled to quicken with the field without much room. However she behaved impecably so we're confident for improvement for the run. This was the first time jockey Saleem Golam rode for us, his riding record is excellent so we were pleased with booking him for the ride and he impressed us with his feedback after the race. More to come from Buteo Bai in the near future.
Yard Of Ale's First Run
Yard Of Ale ran his first race for us on the 31st of August. He gave James Smith a good ride onhis first flat race. James had a great experience being involved in Olympic Cyclist now Amateur Jockey Victoria Pendleton's competetive debut race. Its a day that James will never forget and we were all happy with Yard of Ales first time out. Well done to all involved!
