3rd Place for Gorgeous Geezer and 2nd for Bridge of Sighs
It was a good but frustrating day at the races on Thursday.
Gorgeous Geezer ran much better this time, having had the experience of his first run and being dropped back to 6 furlongs. He settled 4 or 5 lenghts off the pace and showed some good pseed at the finish to take 3rd place in the last 50 yards. Robert Winston was really pleased with the way he ran and thinks we have a lovely horse for the future.
Bridge of Sighs had to overcome a bad draw and traffic problems early on which put him in a terrible position from the start, he put in an amazing effort to come all the way around the outside of the field and only miss out on winning by a lenght from the horse that had set the early pace and made it a true run race. He is obviously still in great form and I'm already looking forward to his next run!
