High 5 - Bridge of Sighs

October 6, 2016

With the turf season nearing its end Bridge of Sighs chose to prove he could win on the grass as well as the all weather when notching up his 5th career win at Brighton on 29th November. The week previous he was a good 3rd at Chelmsford on the all weather and we were hopeful of a good run at Brighton. Archie did not disappoint and duly stormed up to win .

September has also produced a few close calls with two 2nds and two 3rds.

Bank of Gibraltar started with a promising 3rd at Kempton over 8f followed by Bridge of Sighs 3rd at Chelmsford. Wings of Esteem then went a very close with a 1/2l 2nd over 8f at Lingfield  and then went even closer to reduce the distance to 1/4l 2nd over 10f at Wolverhampton the following week.

Bridge of Sighs sticks his head out to record his 5th victory in the Herbert William Hall Memorial Handicap at Brighton.

Elsewhere in the yard we have a number young jumps prospects to look forward to over the winter including Indomitable Spirit, Daring Knight and Teversham as well as unraced 3 & 4 yr olds by Sakhee and Scorpion.

Our flat horses will continue their campaigns on the all weather and we have some new yearling and 2 yr old prospects to look forward to including our Major Cadeaux filly Precious who will return to training after a summer break.

Our homebred filly Snoozy Sioux will be back in action soon and her brother "Jimmy" a lovely yearling colt by The Way You Are has just arrived to be backed. We currently have shares available in a number of horses including Jimmy and Jesse the Scorpion national hunt prospect. Please speak to Martin for Info.
