Teversham wins at 50/1 !
Teversham made our day yesterday at Leicester by taking his career wins to 3. He defied odds of 50/1 to win the Fosse Way Handicap for gentleman amateurs over 7f. The 3yr old by Kheleyf touched 66/1 earlier in the day and was patiently ridden by J J ONeill creeping up the rail in the latter stages of the race to win by 3/4length . Teversham who is owned by the Strawberry Fields Stud is named after the village of Teversham which is local to Newmarket. He is entered in the Tattersalls Horses in Training Sale on Thursday and this result will certainly enhance his profile. We hope he will achieve a good price for his owners.
We have a number of other great prospects in the sale Bank of Gibraltar, Wings of Esteem and Lauraman. If you are at the sales this week and would like any advice on buying a horse or would just like to come and say hello please drop us a line or contact Martin.
We also have several promising young horses with syndicate shares available from as little as 5%. They include hurdlers Indomitable Spirit and Daring Knight, a 3 yr old national hunt prospect by Scorpion and and Snoozy Sioux's brother by the Way You Are . We have some exciting runners this week with Snoozy Sioux, Bridge of Sighs and Cadeaux Boxer - lets hope the winning ways continue !
